Not in the least bit waterproof.
I do like how the tie straps are also the neck loop, so the neck is easily adjusted without having an extra tail hanging from your neck. I like how lightweight and thin it is. However I have a feeling those are likely the cause as to why I am rating the apron low, as we wanted waterproof aprons, and it is not in the least bit waterproof. For reference: I had on long underwear under my grooming pants, with a basic t-shirt tucked in between the long underwear and grooming pants. then I had a smock on over the t-shirt, with the apron on top.
